Parent.org recently de-registered as an incorporated society. As an unincorporated society we serve the same function without the encumbrance of annual general meetings and other regulations. Becoming a member requires nothing on your part except a willingness to join your name to the call for the government to value parents and improve the environment they operate in. We ask for $10 as a one off membership fee, but this can be waived for beneficiaries. The account number for membership or donations is

Could you put the following in
particulars - your name
code   type "memb" for membership or “don” for donation
ref - your full phone number (this is simply to act as a reference point in case we get identical names)

Then could you please email us your details (name, address, phone number) for our database.  Please request a receipt if you need one.  We are figuring out how to generate electronic receipts.  The easier we can make our admin the more energy we can put into changing the country.

This could be the best $10 you could spend.  Your membership and contribution goes to providing resources to do the following:

• Maintaining the website

• Building numbers and mandate.  The more people we can speak for the more notice government will take.

• Putting submissions to government bills and papers.

• Carrying out research - our politicians have great answers to the wrong questions.  Let's start asking the right ones.

• Directly lobby members of parliament

• Form networks with other organisations to spread our vision.
